our namesake.

in case you've been wondering.

see this.

i saw 'Coco Before Chanel' last night. totally worth it. my gentleman friend at starbucks told me he had seen it over the weekend, and that we needed to discuss it. this probably expedited my trip to the theatre, though i had been intending to see it from the get go. lots of good films out right now, damn. um, new moon this weekend. see you there.

we're back!

so, we've definitely been slacking on the blogging. but just as we've revived our twitter accounts in recent days, we will revive rifles+diamonds as well. and seeing that i am currently serving as JD's intern, what better do i have to do between kerning and seeking out PR art? exactly.

our first order of biznass:detroit urban craft fair. JD's big debut, this saturday. super excited about this.

cheers.

JD's letter of resignation..

she would chose way better colors though.

E.

bike-liker..

I'd say this is a pretty accurate depiction of my thoughts.
Bike shopping is hard.

Rode bikes tonight in Hamtramck with JD. Shawarma and beerz. Lovely.

and on our left..

the last critical mass took a more scenic approach. cruisin' the dequindre cut, checking out some mies van der rhoe. hey, i'm cool with mass bike rides, just not sure how critical riding down a bike path is. after 2 hours of the tour, we cut out and went to cass cafe for lentil burgers. mmm.

ROFL

Chances are, I won't ever have kids. But if I do, I expect that this is how they would behave. I imagine that we would spend our days dancing, rather than playing with blocks or watching tv.

every day i'm hustlin'

from the age of 18-20 i really wanted a unicorn tattoo... glad i never went through with it. but this one is pretty hilarious.

they're gonna keep callin' us "cutters"

After an unsuccessful search for Breaking Away at Blockbuster, fate had it's way with me Wednesday night at Borders. I was perusing a clearance rack of DVDs, when this film appeared before my very eyes. $9.99 plus 30% off, whoa. What can I say, sometimes I get lucky. I've watched it twice already. If the Outsiders rode bikes. mmm..

bikes+chalk=amazing

Combining bicycle safety and a sense of whimsy, Contrail is a tool that sends a colorful message to the mobile community. The small apparatus attaches to any bike's seat tube and applies a thin layer of chalk powder in one of several colors to the rear tire.

on another note..

today i went to utrecht and realized that the slot in my wallet, reserved for my discount card, had become occupied by my blockbuster rewards card. that card has been by my side, saving me money since the says of lawrence tech. i came home, dug it out of god knows where, and put it back in its place..blockbuster and utrecht will have to learn to get along.

here's to discounts!

until next time,
E.

happiness is..

http://www.spd.org/2009/02/boston-magazine-redesign.php

Meet Effin' Ellis

likes: gum, "Bernadette" by The Four Tops, AB's
seeks: people that also dance alone
misc: owns more fanny packs than a trashy tourist in the 80's

One day these will be ours

Possibly the cutest animal ever

if you'll be my body guard..

A) probably the best feel-good song ever.
B) undoubtedly one of the best videos ever.

in preparation..

I am going to take my Platinum Membership Card and ride my ass to Blockbuster in hopes that they have this. This particular location is not one to disappoint and I am often surprised, if not shocked by what they have in stock.
Academy Award Winner? And I haven't seen it? Once this movie is in my possession, I'll have the neighborhood over for a screening. Warm weather is just around the corner, and with the formation of our bike gang, the NEONS, in the works, we could all probably take a little something from the CUTTERS.

all my love,
E.

meet {jd}..

my twin sister from another mother..

misc: will own you in tetris.

If we were a Lisa Frank Trapper-Keeper..

JD on the left in her signature 'Hip-Hop' overalls and Vans slip-ons. Erin on the right in some oversized shirt, 'Yo' shorts and lace-less shoes. Pretty accurate depiction of our actual selves..

Nineteen Ninety Something

Devon Sawa or Jonathan Taylor Thomas? Total babes..
